This holiday card says, "Let's Brave the Nargles", and is a reference to something Luna Lovegood said to Harry Potter. At Christmas time in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry found himself under mistletoe. Here is what happened next:

​"Mistletoe," said Luna dreamily, pointing at a large clump of white berries placed almost over Harry's head. He jumped out from under it. "Good thinking," said Luna very seriously. "It's often infested with nargles."

​Nargles, of course, are one of the many imaginary creatures that Luna believed in whole heartedly. I love how artist AJoyfulGreeting turned Luna's lunacy into a funny Christmas card!

The mistletoe on the card is a paper cutout, not printed, and is tied with a real red and white string. The inside reads, "Happy Christmas," which is the British way of saying, "Merry Christmas."

The card and envelope can be brown or white paper, but you need to contact the seller if you want brown for the card and/or envelope when you place your order. If you don't specify a color then you will receive white for both. The card is handmade, so your card might vary slightly from what you see here, but it is sure to be a card worth saving and displaying for whomever you send it to (or keep for yourself!).

This set of cards is a little different from the others listed here. This seller lets you choose three cards from among the six designs he has created. Each card is printed over actual text from the Harry Potter series, and it looks to me as though the text for each design is different, but I could be wrong about this.

This is a beautiful card. It shows Harry Potter standing outside. He is using his wand to make it snow, and you can see the Hogwarts castle in the background. There are many things that I love about this card, and one of them is the fact that the artist made Harry's hair messy, just like it's described in the book.

The inside of the card is blank so you can write whatever you want, and it comes with a red envelope. The seller ships each card in a protective cellophane bag.

Lord Voldemort never looked so... whimsical! Artist DoodleButton has depicted the Dark Lord declaring that there will be "No reindeer games!" this Christmas. Poor Voldy. He doesn't seem to realize that he is wearing reindeer antlers and sporting a bright, red nose and looks absolutely ridiculous! I doubt not even his devoted Death Eaters will be able to look him in the eye without breaking into deep belly laughs.

This card shows Dobby wearing the dirty clothes that marks a House Elf as a slave and a Christmas hat. The artist's rendition of Dobby makes him look every bit as innocent as he was in the series. I simply adore this card!
