Harry, Ron, And Hermione Made From Balloons

Have you ever been to a restaurant where someone walks around going from table to table, offering to make balloon animals? I have, and they are always fun but the animals or hats tend to be rather basic. That doesn’t matter, though, because my kids love them.

But what if there was a wizard out there somewhere who took his creations to the next level? Who has the skills to not just make animals or hats but does people? People you would recognize and want to keep, hoping that time never deflates them?

That’s exactly what I came across today on Facebook. There is a gentleman in Oregon who is a professional balloon artist (sometimes also called a balloon sculptor) who goes by the name of The Magical Mr. B and he really can do magic.

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, And Hermione Granger

Who would have ever guessed that the Golden Trio would look so adorable when made from air and latex?

Mr. B has them dressed in their Hogwarts clothes – a skirt for Hermione and pants for Harry and Ron. Hermione and Harry are wearing their ties, but as is typical of Ron who was known for being a bit more casual, he isn’t wearing his. Harry has his glasses on, has the famous lightening bolt-shaped scar on his forehead, and is holding his wand.

They are all standing on a centerpiece, and on top of if is a Golden Snitch, all made from balloons. Did you notice that the balloons that the trio is standing on are burgundy and yellow, the colors of Gryffindor house?

For those of you wondering, this took Mr. B four hours to make. I think that’s incredibly impressive!

Harry And Hedwig

This is my favorite of the two pictures. It is Harry with his pet snowy owl, Hedwig. It’s so cute!

Harry is in his Hogwarts clothes again, and is glasses look very complex. He is holding his trusty wand in his right hand, and sitting on his left arm is Hedwig. Unlike the other creation, this one only took about 30 minutes.

Balloons aren’t the only thing that Mr. B can do. He has also done many Harry Potter magic shows, which I would have loved to have seen!

Please visit The Magical Mr. B’s Facebook page, where you can see more of his creations. These are the only two Harry Potter photos on his page but there are plenty of other ones for you to enjoy. My personal favorite from other fandoms is his Chewbaca.
