Hagrid gave vague instructions to Harry Potter and Ron Weasley before he was taken away to Azkaban. His instructions were to follow the spiders, so that's exactly what Harry and Ron did.
Turns out that Hagrid didn't know his beloved Aragog as well as he thought he did because Aragog was quite happy to let his family of gigantic spiders munch on Harry and Ron!
This set takes you deep into the Forbidden Forest to the place where Harry and Ron were almost captured by Aragog's family. It is wonderfully creepy with the three giant spiderwebs. There are also several tiles that have baby spiders on them.

The picture below doesn't really show you what this set does but when you set it up correctly the three spiderwebs will fall inward like a cage to capture Ron or Harry when they are inside the forest. The way it works is really neat and setting it up is easy enough for a child to do when the instructions are followed.
This is the first of two LEGO® versions of Aragog. This one is a bit simpler than the later version and I think it looks creepier because of it. There is also a surprise - the tree has a hole inside where you can put one of the owls if you want, or perhaps a spider.
This set would go great with Escape from Privet Drive if you want to add the Ford Anglia so you can recreate the scene from the story. With or without the car, will Harry and Ron escape from the spiders or will they become dinner?
