This is the last of the Harry Potter LEGO® sets that were released in 2001. It is also the third of the only three sets that have a cardboard background and uses bright neon bricks. The other two sets are 4721 Hogwarts Classroom and 4722 Gryffindor.
This set has two stores from Diagon Alley. The first store is a pet store where you can find a wide assortment of animals, from a dangerous scorpion to a cute kitty cat.
The second store contains tons of magical items. You will find a crystal ball, potion bottles, wands, brooms, capes, books, hats, and more!

This set is jam packed full of details. For example, the cupboard doors open and close, allowing you to put small items inside.
It also includes Hermione Granger wearing Muggle clothes. I am not positive but I think this might be the only minifig of her in casual clothes.
You can use this set to let the students of Hogwarts shop for the upcoming school year. Just be careful if Neville Longbottom decides to buy the frog. It has been known to escape on a regular basis!
