What Did Helen Mirren’s Hogwarts Card Look Like?

Yesterday was November 28th, 2021 and it was also the day that the first episode of the Hogwarts: Tournament of Houses trivia show aired in the United States. I’ve already written about how I was in the audience for the series but there was something that I didn’t mention in that article. I’ll get to what in just a moment.

First, though, I want to invite you to watch this video. Pay attention to Dame Helen Mirren and the fireplace.

Did you see all those envelopes flying out of the fireplace? Yeah, so did I when I was watching this being filmed and I immediately wanted one. I asked for one after the filming ended for the first episode that I was at but was told no.

I thought that my chances of getting a letter were over and didn’t think about it during the filming of the final episode. Then, after going outside to say goodbye to the people I’d gotten to know, one of my new friends told me that he had been given one of the letters as everyone was leaving the studio. Just a few of them were being given out after the filming ended and luck was with me as I also got one.

So for anyone wanting to know what the envelopes looked like, here you go! I love that they were all addressed to Dame Helen. I didn’t expect that, I thought it was going to say Harry Potter’s name.

This was not an actual envelope. It was more like a postcard and the two images above are what is on each side.
