Good Morning Student and Faculty:
It seems I have brought something back with me from my travels - Nargles. My slippers and my hair brush are missing this morning in my chamber. They where there last night and now they have vanished. Oh, well, if you find them let me know. Now, on to today's activities. Buckbeak, a hippogriff that is wonderful defender of Hogwarts, has brought his family with him to the school today. Buckbeak has 5 children, and his lovely bride who has a beautiful purple feathers. Buckbeak has agreed to let the students take turns flying on all of their backs. Hagrid will be on hand to show students how to approach and mount a Hippogriff. Now, playing and disobeying Hagrid's lesson could result in injury from one of these beautiful creatures. A lesson once learned from a student many years ago, Draco Malfoy. Do enjoy the day, it should be dandy!!
Regards,
Headmaster Dumbledore
