The LEGO® company's license with Harry Potter ended in 2007 and it looked like there wouldn't be any more sets. Fortunately, they renewed the license and made more sets in 2010 and 2011. This is the first set that was sold under the new license.
This set is a remake of Dobby's Release, which was sold in 2002. The two sets are similar in that they both have Dobby and Lucius Malfoy, and they depict the scene from the second story when Dobby is freed from slavery.
That is where the similarities end. This set added Harry Potter and, even though the building looks like it has less than the other set, it has a secret. You can use it to knock Lucius across the room. This is a really fun way to recreate the scene where Dobby used his magic to keep Lucius away from Harry after Harry tricked Lucius into freeing Dobby.
