Good Morning Students and Staff:
I had the most amazing day yesterday! Mrs. Hermione Granger Weasley and I went to Edinburgh to explore the muggle world. I always find it fascinating!! There is a street there that resembles our own Diagon Alley. Interesting to see muggles going about their day without magic and seem to be functioning just fine. I find it most fascinating riding in automobiles. The ride always excites me. We went into shops to look at muggle things. I find that buying your clothes from a rack without proper fitting somewhat sad. I could not imagine not going into Madam Malkin's for a fitting for her wonderful robes. Tailored for your needs. Although an item of clothing called a T-shirt is very interesting. My favorite place was the bakery. Meena Bakers’ Shop at 45 Victoria St. Wonderful sweets! By the end of the day I was ready to go back to Hogwarts. It was been many years since I have worn a suit. My old robes felt very comfortable after a day being dressed dandy!! Ron and Hermione Weasley joined me for dinner. It is still rather odd seeing them all grown with children sitting in the Great Hall again. Seems like just yesterday they where young and innocent. Ah, oh well. Good times.
