Good Morning Students and Staff:
So, it seems what is old can be new again. Yesterday student Renee Stonemir was in the library looking at old music books. She found a song written by Liam Sternberg and preformed by The Bangles, a witch group who preformed in the muggle world. Little know fact: Liam Sternberg, Michael Steele, Susanna Hoffs , Debbi Peterson, and Vicki Peterson all graduated from Hogwarts. They choose to preform in the muggle world and became a sensation by doing it. Their biggest recording, "Walk Like an Egyptian", went to number one on the muggle music chart. Others, like "Manic Monday", where a nod to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for what the students call the Drudgery of the first school day of the week. Ms. Stonemir has restarted the craze of Egyptian walking. All the students are now walking around the corridors, walking like an Egyptian!! It looks fun, I think I will try it myself when nobody is looking! A rather catchy tune, I must say, I will probably be humming to myself all day.
