Good Morning Students and Staff:

Yesterday evening as I was taking a walk around the country side near the school I came across an old plow point used by muggles to plow fields for crops of food. A curious looking devise, I wondered how it felt, all rusty laying there. When I touched it I was transported to a subway station in London. Oxford Circus Underground Station, to be exact. It also was what muggles call rush hour. When I apparated in the station one thing I do know is old men in robes are not the norm in the muggle world. Suits are. So there I was standing on the wall side of the tunnel, feeling a bit odd and out of place with people staring at me. All I could do was mutter 'Good Day' to them all. I stepped into the nearest doorway and transformed into a suit. Now robes gone, I was dressed for the muggle world. So When in Rome, do as the Romans, they say. Or as I say, "When in London, do as the English". I was there, it was late, and I had not eaten in a muggle restaurant in decades. So off I went into a restaurant, the food was quite simple and I found it very tasteful. The muggle service was top notch!! Manners where in place, too. So, for a surprise, of which I get many, this one was a good one. Enjoy class today. Oh, as for the portkey it has been moved so, students, do not go looking for it.

Regards,
Headmaster Dumbledore
