As a child of the 70s and 80s, I'm just one of many people who grew up under the influence of Prince. He was, and shall forever be, a musical wizard to me, and I think the world lost one of the greats when he passed away.
It occurred to me that there might be a silver lining to Prince's passing, and it has to do with his music. It has been said that Prince has thousands of recorded songs that he never released. Apparently, he has kept them in a bank vault, and it is yet unknown what will happen to them now.
I spoke to a friend the night Prince died and said, ""I am hopeful that there will be one silver lining to the passing of Prince. Can you imagine what's in his vaults that hasn't been released?"
My 13-year-old daughter overheard me and didn't understand my question. She asked me, "What vaults? Gringotts?"
And just like that, Prince is now connected to the world of Harry Potter!
