Tom Felton is the actor best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies but he has done more than just act. He is also a musician who sings and plays guitar.
One thing yo might not know about Tom is that he loves his fans and is very kind to them. He explored his relationship with fans in his documentary (which was also his directorial debut) Tom Felton Meets The Superfans, which I highly recommend as it’s very interesting.
It turns out that Tom participates in a website called Cameo where you can pay a fee and have a video made just for you. Can you imagine having Tom make a video that’s just for you? You can!
Of course, it’s not free since it means Tom has to take time out of his daily activities to send a personal message to those of you who request one. Each video is personalized based on how you answer a few questions. This would be priceless if I had one!
Here is an example of what the videos look like. A woman named Vanessa requested a video. She was heading to Germany to see him in concert, which she told him and mentioned two of her favorite songs. Hello Tom, if i can say something to you.. I live in Czech Republic in one poor village. My mom must working every single day and my father left us when I was 8. I don’t remember him. I see my mom only in Saturday at night, because she must works. I know I’m 15, but I don’t see my mom for a long time and it’s so hard. I live with my grandma and grandpa. They practically saved my life. Without them I maybe would live under the bridge. I have known you since I was 11 years old. You really changed my life. Really much. With your songs I feel better, i always forget what was. You make me happy, you gave me hope. I can’t believe how you changed my life. I can’t explain that. But i’ll never meet you. You live so far away from me. I just watch that meetings where your fans are so happy for that they met you, they ask you much questions, you sing them songs.
