If you are like me then you probably have a sizable collection of Mystery Minis but don't know what to do with them. Fortunately there are people clever enough to figure it out for me, which is exactly what happened recently. A woman named Jamie shared how to display Harry Potter Funko Mystery Minis and it turns out that it's super simple.
Jamie has kindly allowed me to use her pictures, which will help you see how to replicate what she has done.
What You Need To Display Harry Potter Mystery Minis
It turns out that all you need is a shot glass display case. They come in a wide variety of sizes, holding up to 144 minis. Most cases will fit the standard sized minis but not the larger ones like the basilisk. There are some cases that have spots for taller glasses so look for those if you have tall minis that you want to include in your case. As you can see from this picture, the mini of Harry Potter wearing the tall hat for the Quidditch World Cup fits in the display case Jamie used, so that isn't too tall for a standard display case.
Some cases have glass doors but not all do. I recommend getting one with a door as this will keep dust off the figures. I can tell you from experience that it's not fun dusting Mystery Minis.
Jamie's display case has a single hook on the back, right in the middle. She said that the case leans to one side when she opens the door, causing her minis to fall over. I have no idea why the manufacturer thought a single hook was a good idea for a display case that's meant to hold glass items but I'm sharing this to make you aware of this possibility. Look for cases that have two hooks, one on each side, for secure hanging.
