Love is in The Air, My Dear Students and Faculty:
Exciting news. The February 14th Saint Valentine's Day ball is all set. The Great Hall will be decorated with large, lurid pink, purple, and red flowers. Enchanted heart-shaped confetti will be falling from the pale blue ceiling. Candle light will be warm and romantic. Dancing will go into the night. Exciting, exciting!! House elves have agreed to dress in festive outfits for this one occasion. Now on a personal note: Do you have a date for the festivities? If there is someone who has your eye don't be shy ask that person to the ball. There is someone you fancy? Look into your heart, you know there is. Professor McGonagall and I will be ceremony masters for the night. Looking forward to seeing you there. May your day be pleasant.
