Good Morning Students and Staff:
It has been a awhile since my last post. I apologize. My life has been very busy this summer with Hogwarts and Ministry business. Three days until the first day of school. We here at the school hope you are excited about coming back and for you who are coming for the first year we welcome you with open arms here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Our staff will be waiting at the station for all of your arrivals. Others may come by floo powder, broomsticks, or apparating at nearby locations. Saturday at King's Cross Station platform 9 3/4 will be open early, the train leaves at 11:00 am sharp. Don't be late!
After arrival here at the school Hagrid will sort you all out. First year will travel to the school by boat across the Black Lake. All others will be transported by carriages. That evening a feast will be had by all. First years will be sorted to their house at the Sorting ceremony. New and old teachers will be introduced. After dinner, students will be led to their house common rooms by a prefect. We all here at Hogwarts look forward to a very magical year at the school. Safe travels!
