Interesting Events Yesterday Students and Faculty:
The game yesterday was a decoy to draw the Dementors into the stadium. It was a practice game. We knew the Dementors could not resist the amount of human emotions happening at the game. It would draw them in. At that time we would pretend to have a firework show put on by Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, with guards watching from the outside. Shield in place, we waited. When the time was right we sprang our trap. In the firework display we had placed a modified Patronus Charm. They were made to penetrate the shield guarding the field and explode inside the ranks of Dementors, sending them back to the underworld where they came from. It worked flawlessly. Just as a precaution the shield will be left up for a while around the castle.
