A month or so ago I wrote a post where I pondered whether or not Mattel would release the six rumored Harry Potter dolls in the United States. I’d even contacted them about it but they were very noncommittal in the answer I got.

Well, we finally know and the answer is yes! The release date on these toys is August 1, 2018. As of right now the only place where you can preorder them is on Walmart’s website, but I’m sure they will be available for sale elsewhere after the 1st. I recommend looking on Amazon or eBay if you can’t find them on Walmart.
One last thing – According to the comments I read on Mattel’s Facebook page, these will be released in other countries later this year. If you live outside the US then I recommend contacting Mattel and asking if/when you can expect to see them.
