Ew! Troll boogers glue!
This is hands-down the strangest thing that I've found when looking through Harry Potter merchandise. Yes, there really was a bottle of glue marketed as troll boogers!
This product was made by Elmer's Glue in 2001, back before the movies changed the looks of merchandise. The front label is designed like almost anything else you might find made in 2000 or 2001, the two years where merchandise was made before the movies came out.
You can see Harry on his Nimbus 2000 broom. It looks like he just flew through the brick arches in his effort to catch the Golden Snitch. Hedwig, his faithful, if temperamental, pet owl is flying with Harry.
The label looks wonderful, but it's the top of the bottle that I love most. It has a large troll's head and Harry. He is holding on to the head for dear life, which is a recreation of the scene on Halloween when a troll ran through the castle.
You can turn the troll's head to open the bottle of glue, just like you do with any other glue bottle. But with this bottle you will see glue coming out of the troll's nose!
I found a bottle on Amazon and it is now sitting on my computer desk. I don't think I will ever use my bottle of troll boogers, but if I do, I can either refill the bottle or switch the topper to a new bottle.
