Buying Hermione Granger's wand is easy enough. You can buy one at Universal Studios in Florida, USA, or you can buy one online. There are several variations on her wand for you to choose from so you can easily find the wand that you like best from the list of wands below.
You might not realize this, but Hermione's wand is one of the few wands in the world of Harry Potter that doesn't have a clear handle. Instead of a handle at the hand end of the wand it has vines wrapping their way down most of the wand's length. It is quite lovely, just like Hermione!
Wand Wood
Hermione's wand was made of vine wood. Not many people are aware of this, but there is a significance to the wood author J.K. Rowling chose for Hermione's wand - vine symbolizes extreme passionate emotions in the Celtic tree calendar. Can you think of a certain witch who was prone to going from happiness to wrath in a moment's notice?
Wand Core
The core of Hermione's wand is dragon heartstring. According to wand lore, wands made with dragon heartstrings are very powerful and learn spells quickly. Hermione was known for her jars of flame, and I can't help but wonder if that was a more than a coincidence, given that dragons also produce flames...

Wand Design
Not surprisingly, Hermione's wand is adorned with vine leaves. Actually, if you pay attention to the first two movies you will notice that her wand looks very different from the one seen here. Her original wand was short and black. Beginning with the third movie it looked like this one. This change was made by the director of the third movie, Alfonso Cuaron, because he wanted Hermione's wand to be a visual representation of who she was as a witch.
Ollivanders Wand
This is the wand that you will see for sale if you are fortunate enough to go to Universal Studio's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It comes in one of Mr. Ollivander's boxes that is lined with a soft material to keep your wand safe for years to come.
If you click on either the Amazon or eBay link below then chances are good that you will see this type of wand available in two different boxes. The first box seen below is the box that is sold at Universal Studios. The second box is based on the boxes from the movies. The wands are the same, except that one is a bit darker than the other.
Interactive Ollivanders Wand
Interactive wands are Ollivander wands, but unlike traditional Ollivander wands, these can be used to cast magical spells at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. There is an interactive version of Hermione Granger's wand that looks identical to the one seen above, except at the tip. I wrote about interactive Harry Potter wands if you are unfamiliar with them. Noble Collection Wand
The Noble Collection version of Hermione's wand includes a different box than the Ollivanders box and a removable name tag. The Noble Collection wand is a bit darker than the Ollivanders version. Noble Collection boxes are lined with a soft material to help protect your wand.
Illuminating Tip Wand
The early version of Hermione's wand has a tip that lights up. It uses AAA batteries that you can replace, and there is an on/off switch. When turned on the tip lights up when you flick the wand. If you flick it again the light dims, and a third flick distinguishes the light. My daughter has this wand and loves using it to cast the Lumos spell!
Keychain Wand
Consider a keychain wand if you want to have a wand small enough to take with you where ever you go. All of the keychain wands that I've found are made of metal so they will be durable enough to withstand the abuse that keychains are so often put through.
Pen Wand
The most unique version of the wand that chose Hermione is the pen wand. Not only can you use it to cast spells, but you can also use it to write with! Many of the wand pens available for sale include the bookmark seen in the image below.
Rubie's Toy Wand
I would argue that most of the wands on this page are meant for adults, and at least one is a collectible item. So, that might make you wonder, where does that leave children who want to pretend to be Hermione? Fortunately, there is a wand that is meant specifically for children and is meant to be played with. The wand seen below is made of durable plastic and will stand up to years of spell casting.
