As of this writing there are a total of 67 Harry Potter LEGO® sets, all of which I have listed below. I say “as of this writing” because I will be forever hopeful that LEGO® will create new sets from the Harry Potter stories in the future, even though it appears to be very unlikely that this will happen.
Interestingly, LEGO® had two different licenses for making Harry Potter LEGO® sets. The first license ran from 2001 to 2007, at which point they stopped making sets. Then, the license was renewed in 2010, just in time for first of the final two Harry Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1. This license ran from 2010 to 2011.
The playsets depict various scenes from the books and movies, of which they had no shortage of scenes they could recreate (and there are still plenty more they can do, such as The Ministry of Magic). Some sets are quite large, while others are very small, but they are all wonderful recreations of the magical world Harry Potter and his friends lived in.
I have many of the sets and can attest to what a great job LEGO® did with them. This is the response I got when I asked if they plan on releasing more sets in the future: “Unfortunately, we do not have that information regarding the release of new Harry Potter sets or how many we will be producing if we do. As a Harry Potter fan myself I do hope we release more Harry Potter sets to add to the collection.” Maybe if the Harry Potter franchise remains as popular in the future as it is today LEGO® will get a third license and make even more than what is listed here.
