Good Morning Students and Faculty:
The storm has subsided, but not without further investigation while it was raging outside. Again, yesterday Madam Hooch flew her broom into the storm to see if she could see what the lighting might be striking in Professor Trelawney's office. She was able, on one attempt, to see through the window that the lighting bolts were striking a crystal ball inside the classroom. After the storm, upon entering the classroom, one of Professor Trelawney's crystal balls was glowing purple. When touched the contents inside moved and swirled violently. It almost seems alive. Curious! For now the crystal ball has been moved to my office and a Protego Maxima charm has been put around it for safety. The Ministry and I will be examining and watching for any changes today. I will update you when I have more news.
