LEGO® Set 4865 – The Forbidden Forest

This is the first set of 2011, the last year that Harry Potter LEGO® sets were released. It is a fairly small playset but it depicts a very important scene from the final story - the moment when Harry Potter willingly went to Voldemort, deep in the Forbidden Forest, knowing that Voldemort would kill him.

Of course, we know that Harry didn't die the second time he was struck by Voldemort's killing curse. Instead he ended up in a dream-like state and had a conversation with Dumbledore about what was going on. Dumbledore told Harry many things, including that Harry could choose to die and go on to the next great adventure, or choose to live, which is what Harry did.

I Want This - Help Me Find It

This set is small, but it still has a secret. In this case, the secret is a launcher that you can use to fling a minifigure into the air, found on the backside of the tree.

Of the four included minifigures, the one of Narcissa Malfoy is unique to this set. It's nice to have her because now all of the Malfoys have been turned in to minifigs, meaning that if you have sets with Draco, Lucius, and Bellatrix Lestrange, then you can recreate scenes that include all four of them.
