Instead of a box, this set comes in a polybag because it is a very small set. This version of the Knight Bus might be small but it is adorable! Just to be clear, this is not the large Knight Bus set but a very small one.
This miniature version of the bus was a promotional item. The only way people got it was by going to select movie theaters that gave them away with the purchase of tickets to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This is a rare set that is sought after by collectors of Harry Potter LEGO® sets or merchandise.
Harry Potter unknowingly hailed the Knight Bus when he held out his wand while outside at the beginning of the third story. The Knight Bus showed up and Stan Shunpike happily, if a little nosily, explained how the Knight Bus works to Harry. The ride might have been unsettling but it got Harry safely where he wanted to go - the Leaky Cauldron.
