Scholastic published the first official Harry Potter coloring book in November of 2015. The book was wildly popular and many more followed. The Harry Potter Poster Coloring Book is a variation on the first book. It took 20 pictures from that book and turned them into posters that you can color.
The cover of this book says that it has exclusive illustrations, but I've been unable to determine what they are. I contacted Scholastic about this and will let you know what they say. But we do know that this book differs from the original in several important ways.
First, the images are printed on high-quality card stock that can be removed, so you can frame or hang your completed pages. Second, the illustrations are printed on one side of the paper, so the backs are always blank. This is wonderful for people who don't want to have to choose which side of a page to display.
It is too soon to know if this book will have full color images of the art at the back of the book, like the other coloring books in this series, but I would be surprised if it didn't. Also, the art was designed by multiple artists, including MinaLima, which gives a nice variety to the works.
There are two types of product links on this page:
- Picture Link - If you can click on a picture it will take you directly to that item on a site like Amazon or Etsy. It is possible that the item is no longer available for sale from the seller I have linked the picture to, which is why I created the second type of link.
- Site Link - When you click on a link to an online store, such as Amazon, eBay, or Etsy, it will take you to that site so you can compare prices for the item seen in the picture. Or, if you are looking at a costume then you might see items similar to the one seen in the picture so you choose the one you like best.
Do you live outside the United States?
Although some items on Amazon can be shipped world wide, you will probably have the best luck with eBay and Etsy. Click here to see how to know if an item from those three sites can be shipped outside the U.S.A., as well as how you can buy items found and have them shipped to you even if the store you buy from doesn't ship to your country.(Clicking this will open a new window so you won't lose the page you are currently on.)
