Can You Guess What J.K. Rowling's Horcrux Would Be?

I have a confession to make... I am going to admit to you right now that it has never, ever crossed my mind to wonder what kind of a Horcrux author J.K. Rowling would make if she turned away from the light and dedicated herself to the Dark Arts. But someone did and actually asked Rowling this very question on Twitter.

Rowling has proved to be very communicative with her fans on Twitter and she responds to a surprising number of their questions, and this was one that she answered.

Her answer showed the great sense of humor that we've seen over and over with her, a sense of humor that Rowling shares quite frequently in her Twitter posts. One great example of her humor had to do with whether or not the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play is a prequel to the events of the seven Harry Potter books. You can see some of her Twitter posts about this here.

But back to the topic at hand - J.K. Rowling's Horcrux. It turns out that Rowling has thought about this possibility at least once, and her answer surprised pretty much everyone. Here is the conversation between Rowling and Ewokalypse:

J.K. Rowling's Horcrux

To clarify, Rowling's Horcrux would be a teabag. How very British of her! Personally, I think this it's rather dicey going with a teabag since it is likely to be thrown away unless she kept it some place safe.

Now that I'm thinking about the topic of creating Horcruxes I am wondering what I would make. I never would, mind you, but if I woke up in Bizarro world where everything is backwards and upside down, then I'd consider making one. In that one and only example, I think I'd choose something like a paperclip. Of course, I would run the same risk as a teabag in that it could be tossed in the trash, but I would be sure to keep it under lock and key.

<*Shudder*> I don't like even pretending that I would make a Horcrux!

If you were to create a Horcrux, what would it be and why? Please tell me in the comments below.

I would make my Horcrux a pebble because I could toss it on a mountain and no one would find it. Or maybe throw it into a stream so it would be impossible to find.
